Boston Magazine | Live Virtual Workouts to Try This Week While You’re Stuck at Home

May 11, 2020 View the Original Article

This week’s stay-at-home fitness events are beginning to look a lot like the ones we used to have in person. This Sunday, take part in the annual Harpoon Five-Miler race from your neighborhood running path. Or, splurge on a delicious brunch from a participating list of Boston restaurants during Everybody Fights’ virtual Box, Brunch & Beats. And if you’re craving something green to break up all the pantry pasta you’ve been chowing on, head to Instagram Live on Thursday for a plant-based feast with Healthworks Fitness.

Sunday, May 17

Box, Brunch and Beats: Everybody Fights founder George Foreman III and Life is Good founder Bert Jacobs partnered with local restaurants Lincoln, Loco, Fat Baby and Capo for this combination workout and brunch event, redesigned for the stay-at-home era. Kick it off with an Everybody Fights class by instructor Michael James. Then, snag a deal on brunch from one of the participating restaurants and enjoy live acoustic music from Aldous Collins while you feast.

Free, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., ebf.live.
