WHY I FIGHT | SARAH WHITE

July 18, 2019 | Sarah White

What’s your name, where are you from, and what do you do?

My name is Sarah White and I’m from Acushnet, MA. I teach yoga part time and work for a tech company called Acquia full time.

What makes you a fighter?

I’m constantly working to better myself physically & mentally. I believe that physical activity and yoga help to make that happen.

What do you fight for?

I fight for my happiness—for the mental shift that happens sometime between when I walk in the door to class and walk out.

What inspires you to take the hits and keep on fighting?

My motto is “still I rise”. It means that no matter what life hits you with, you’re able to rise above it. There are always going to be low points in life but it’s moreso about how you bounce back from those times than letting them keep you down.

If you could fight side-by-side with one person, past or present, who would it be?

Muhammad Ali

What is your Fight Fuel?

Oat and Nut Refuel Balls.

What is your Fight Song?

23 Trap Remix by Mike WILL Made-It & Miley Cyrus.

What’s your favorite EverybodyFights class?

BAGSxBEATS or FLOWxRECOVERY!

Who is your favorite EverybodyFights Trainer, and why?

Edwin! I took my first class with him and he was so welcoming and made me feel like I fit into the community right away!

How do you Fight It Forward?

By leading teacher trainings for students to become yoga teachers. I love giving back to the community that helped my find my voice.
